A recent Honkai: Star Rail leak is showing off the animations and menus used for the new form of March 7th, set to debut in Version 2.4. HoYoverse introducing alternate versions of their pre-existing characters is nothing new to the massively popular sci-fi RPG, with multiple alternate characters already released. The Trailblazer currently features three different forms players can switch between, and Dan Heng previously received his own entirely new five-star version with Imbibitor Lunae. The developer also recently confirmed another starter character will be receiving a new form in the game's next update.
March 7th has been the subject of plenty of rumors about new content in Honkai: Star Rail since the outset of the game. HoYoverse was long-rumored to be giving March 7th Honkai: Star Rail's first new character skin, with the game currently not featuring any cosmetic skins. The developer would later confirm that March 7th will receive a new form in Version 2.4, seeing her switch into the Hunt Path and giving her an outfit inspired by the Xianzhou Luofu. Now, new leaks are showing off March 7th's animations when switching between her forms.

Honkai: Star Rail Leak Shows March 7th Form Switch Animations
A new post shared to the Honkai: Star Rail leaks subreddit via prominent leaker ZenithLeak shows off March 7th's new form switching animations in Version 2.4. Players will be able to swap between March 7th's forms using the game's Character Menu, similar to the Trailblazer, with her new form boasting its own unique Traces and Eidolons. Switching between forms will also play a special animation, showcasing the character changing her outfits and switching between her traditional bow and March 7th's new dual blades. March 7th's new form will debut with Version 2.4, currently expected for July 30.
While HoYoverse has yet to officially reveal any details about March 7th's new form past her Element and Path, leaks have begun to tease her gameplay. March 7th's new form will reportedly use an Enhanced Basic ATK, following in the footsteps of another alternate starter character in the previously mentioned Imbibitor Lunae. Rumors have also suggested that March 7th's Skill and Ultimate will not deal damage to enemies, suggesting that the majority of her damage will come from her Normal Attacks.
The addition of March 7th's new form comes in a patch set to focus on the Astral Express returning to the Xianzhou Luofu. Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.4 will feature two brand-new five-star characters from the Xianzhou Luofu, with both Jiaoqiu and Yunli joining Star Rail's roster. Multiple popular characters have also been teased to see re-runs during the update, with both Seele and Huohuo hinted to be returning through past leaks. Fans of March 7th look to have plenty of new content to dive into when Version 2.4 launches next month.
